The company introduced the Philips LCD-monitor with a unique energy saving feature. New 22 "monitor with the function of Brilliance Power Sensor provides the optimum level of brightness with the ability to customize the user only if it is people. When a user in front of the monitor does not, then its brightness and contrast are reduced by 50% to save power. This feature is built into monitor and do not require control of the computer. The sensitivity of this feature is configured to search for users ranging from 30cm to 120cm.

New Philips LCD-display has a resolution of 1680x1050 pixels, 1000:1 contrast, 5ms response time, and DVI inputs and D-Sub. Its price and timing of the appearance on the European market is not yet known.
