Just more than a year after launch, Windows 7 will account for nearly half of all the Microsoft client operating system ships enterprise users, according to IDC's forecasts.

In 2010, Windows 7 will account for 49.5% of the acquired businesses and the Windows operating system, or nearly 580,000, IDC said. These figures dwarf Vista, which will account for 15%, in 2010 the Microsoft Windows operating system for one year (180,000 units).

Windows 7 pre-sale has been tearing up the bestseller list, which reached the pre-sale phase of the operating system more than a week ago.

The momentum of Windows 7 in 2013, the new operating system accounted for 95% of the operating system of the enterprise software market. This ratio is 90% forecast in 2012.
