SPSS software PASW statistics launched this week 18, a latest edition of the software previously recognized as SPSS statistical software, arithmetical data application suite of academic, governmental as well as business organizations.

The package is for advanced statistical analysis. The company cited examples, such as resource planning; business forecasts; quality assurance; medical research and other scientific research; and marketing.

The latest features include the neighbors PASW statistical analysis of 18, advanced visualization ability, PASW modular design direct marketing, commercial, and new tools for automatic data preparation.

System requirements include Mac OS X 10.4 or later, to install at least 512MB of memory; 800MB of available hard disk space; and Java Standard Edition (J2SE 5.0) installation.
