A Web cam with Air Cursor application from Taiwan's widely sponsored Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) is all a consumer will require to manage their PC cursor with effortless hand motion in the air.

ITRI developed the application to operate with regular PC hardware so citizens won't have to purchase something latest to get set up, as alleged by Ming-Wheng Lin, deputy director of ITRI's Human Computer Interaction Technology Center, at a trade fair.

The application is supportable with presently obtainable versions of Windows, and also Linux, he said. ITRI is looking for associates to launch the software.
The software will be verified at the forthcoming Taipei Computer Applications Show, which will commence by the end of this month.

ITRI is partially sponsored by the Taiwan government. The group has also extended innovative technologies but does not promote or trade them on its own.
