The report just keeps upcoming. We've heard Apple is discussing with Verizon, possibly to make AT&T a little worried about maintaining its iPhone domination, or maybe to really develop service options. Or else, maybe, Apple is angling to cut a contract with another carrier in regard to a special product.
In February Verizon declared it is focusing to have two test markets this year, as well as to have 25 to 30 markets ready for LTE by the end of 2010. Verizon's fresh plan is "putting immediately about all it has in to moving many of these markets up to Q1 2010."
Report of an Apple tablet has been circulating for a few times; most has expected a 2010 release. Source guess that a tablet makes good judgment for Verizon. No microphone means any calls. No calls means the device would cooperate carefully with AT&T's limited iPhone agreement, which is set to terminate for a moment in 2010.
Individually, I wouldn't mind considering a Verizon LTE iPhone with speeds of up to 80Mbps impending for a while down the road.
