Processor AMD Phenom X4 II 965 Black Edition is the flagship product of AMD, but to achieve the frequency 3.46Ggts manufacturer had to make some sacrifices. In particular, the power of the model above, the implied barrier at 125W, the processor 965 consumes BE 140Vt. This, of course, absolutely not happy about AMD, so that the manufacturer plans to release a new version of high-performance processor.

Power consumption of the new model will continue to be high, but within reasonable limits: 125W. On the other hand, lower energy consumption can affect performance, because of what the new processor will not be the flagship line of AMD, but simply a high-performance model. Apparently, AMD engineers would try to avoid it. Let's see how they get it!

Currently, among the Intel processor models with no power above 125W and now AMD hopes to quickly release their 32nm products to further improve performance without increasing extravagance of processors.
