Company Intel is preparing to quadruple the capacity of the fast SSD-drives X25-E. Electronic Drives series X25-E were based on SLC-chips and very fast, but now represented only in 32GB and 64GB versions.
Since the manufacturer has no plans to release SSD-Y25-R discs on the basis of first-generation 34nm chips, the users who wish to see these products first hand. Intel plans to submit a 128GB model, as well as a giant SLC-drive capacity 256Gb.
As a result, the new Intel SSD-drives will be very expensive, but they are perfectly suited to users who require high performance and excellent speed for a sufficiently large capacity. The current generation is produced by 50-nm process technology and has a read speed of up to 250MB and write speed up to 170MB, so that from next-generation 34nm disks can expect even higher performance.
