The company is preparing to release Intel processor, which, oddly enough, does not belong to a series of Core i7 and Core i5. This 45nm quad-core York field processor will support socket LGA775 and called the Core 2 Quad Q9500.

The frequency of this processor will be equal to 2.83GGts, it can be seen as a trimmed version of the processor Q9550, who also works at 2.83GGts, but has 12Mb of cache memory. Processor Q9500 will have only 6Mb Cache.

Likely to further complicate the choice; the manufacturer will release a model of Core 2 Quad Q9505, whose characteristics are generally the same as that of the Q9500. Contrast to the Q9500, model Q9505 will support technologies such as Intel VT-d and Intel TXT. All these processors have power 95Vt; timing of their appearance on the market has not yet clarified.
