According to industry sources, the company Asustek Computer on September 7 this year plans to launch two new models of ultra-thin notebooks based on Intel processors next generation, namely, 45nm Celeron models 743 and SU2300. First of all new Asus notebooks appear in Taiwan, China and Europe, their price is not reported.

Processors Intel Celeron 743 and SU2300 in batches of 1000 pieces and focus on the lower segment of the market. Sources indicate that the company Micro-Star International (MSI), and Acer will soon follow suit and Asus will also soon introduce its own new ultra-thin notebook models on these processors.

As a supplement, Asustek president Jerry Shen (Jerry Shen) said that in the third quarter of 2009 at the ultra-thin model will account for 10-20% of all shipments of notebook Asus.
