Based on proprietary Glaciator Fansink Design Company Asus has created another model of video card, this time based on the graphic chip nVidia GeForce GTX 260. Model called Glaciator + GTX 260 (ENGTX260 GL + / HTDI/896MD3) uses a cooler Glaciator + Fansink.

This cooler is simpler than the previous models of Asus graphics cards with similar design; it has a 5.8 ounce (165g), copper base plates with radiating plates, aluminum radiator. The fan with PWM, located in the center of the video card, provides a highly efficient cooling. While processor NVIO2 has its own little heat sink, the memory is cooled by air flow from the fan. 4 +1 phase voltage regulator module is cooled passively.

Video works on reference frequencies 576MGts/1242MGts/999MGts (core / shader / memory). 55nm core G200b has 216 universal processors, connected to 896MB GDDR3 memory on 448-bit interface. Sales of new graphics card ASUS ENGTX260 GL + / HTDI/896MD3 begin in the near future, its price is not reported.
