The company showed its new Corsair RAM DDR3 with high density, which will be released in the form of 8GB and 12GB kits. This memory is specially designed for use with processors Intel Core I5 and the Core i7, in dual and tri-channel configuration. According to the vice-president of technical marketing, Corsair, John Bickle (John Beekley), fans of high-performance systems, as well as early adopters of Windows 7 will like 8GB and 12GB solutions.
Dual channel kit (number CMD8GX3M4A1600C8) comes with four 2GB modules, optimal for the upcoming Intel platform chipset P55. Three-channel kit (CMD12GX3M6A1600C8) is similar, with six slats 2GB; it is aimed at the currently available platform X58. Both configurations have XMP profiles with frequency 1600MGts and delays CAS 8-8-8-24.
New modules RAM Corsair heatsink DHX +, which is compatible with a number of systems with liquid cooling and active coolers. Unfortunately, the price and timing of these kits on the market is unknown, but likely their sale will begin before the official announcement of processors Intel Core i5.
