Seagate is going to release its first 2.5 "disk capacity of 1TB. The source reports that some British retailers are already taking orders for two new models of external drives, Seagate, made on the basis of the new drive.
The new series of drives and the Seagate Portable Seagate FreeAgent Go in the UK will cost just over € 160, but they are not yet available, and at this stage it is unclear when exactly Seagate plans to release them to market. It is known that it will not particularly fast disks rotating at all 5400ob/min and with 8MB of cache memory. Series drives Seagate Momentus and Constellation work with the spindle speed 7200rpm and has 16MB or 32MB of cache memory.
While it is unclear what the thickness will have a new 2.5 "drives Seagate, but if 1TB drive will have a thickness of 9.5mm, it will be the first massive 1TB hard drives for laptops.
