AMD has plans to launch four new series of mobile processors, which will be used in different platforms. The first is a dual-core mobile processor AMD Turion II Ultra, which will operate at a frequency of 2.6GHz. Next ─ dual core AMD Turion II with a lower frequency, followed by a slow, but also dual-core Athlon II.
Sempron processors are still with us; AMD will release another single-core processor in this series. The launch of these four processors is scheduled for early September. The new mobile processors are based either on code Caspian, that is intended for ordinary laptops, either on the code of Conesus, respectively, for the second generation of ultra-thin models, they probably will come under the name Neo 2. More information will appear shortly.
