Stellar Information Systems launch Wipe this week. The program eternally wipe out the entire data from a Mac's hard drive, so that any private data is detached before you trade, offer, or get free of your PC.

The application wipes up files as well as folders independently. It also wipes down system traces such as access logs, set up logs, along with console logs. Wipe up also removes data from Web browsers with idle hard disk space.

Wipe costs $39 for a single-user authorization. The software operates on OS X 10.4 or later on.
