Wholesale prices of DDR3 memory is starting to approach the prices DDR2, and manufacturers increasingly focus on the release of DDR3, to survive. It is worth noting that in general the industry there is a small price increase. Manufacturers of memory chips, expects that in the fourth quarter of 2009, about a third of computers will work with memory DDR3 type. Limited supply DDR3 persisted with significant difference in prices for DDR2 and DDR3 memory chips, because it forces many manufacturers focus is on DDR2 memory. Migrating to DDR3 will move faster, the faster will reduce the gap in prices for DDR3 and DDR2.
