Thread: AMD Phenom II X2 555 dual core, Phenom II X4 955 quad core processors coming soon

If news is to be believed then Advanced Micro Devices will quickly launch two Phenom series processors. The Phenom II is a dual core processor, stating 3.2GHz core speed and 80W TDP. It also boasts of 2x512KB L2 cache per core along with an added 6MB of L3 cache, making it relatively speedy CPU.

On the further hand the Phenom X4 955 is a quad core processor, offering 3.2GHz core speed along with lesser power appraisal of 95W.

The 95W Phenom II X4 955 will emerge in Q2 2010, while the Phenom II X2 555 will arrive in Q4 2009.
