ATI, or at least a considerable part, which is based in g.Markham, Ontario, surprised everybody by talking about plans for the manufacturer in 2011, associated with the brand Fusion. This will be the year that will be released dual-GPU, integrated with the AMD processor, code-named "Ontario".

This combination of CPU / GPU, which initially will be created on a single chip, will be released in the form of dual-core and chetyrehdernoy versions, called LIano, weekdays and is designed for notebook core segment. For emerging market AMD plans to launch Ontario, dual-core processor with DirectX 11 APU. APU means Accelerated Processing Unit, this can be translated as "block expedited processing." The processor itself will support Ontario Memory DDR3, including DDR3L 1.35v, and will be released in the body FT1 BGA. AMD plans to use Ontario, along with the chipset Hudson M1. In the future all this will become part of the platform Brazos, whose name is probably taken from a river.

General, in 2010, is likely to be a difficult year for AMD, but as soon as the manufacturer will introduce the Llano and Ontario with an integrated GPU, AMD will have a good chance to improve their rating. Bad for the producer is that both processors APU will appear more than a year. In addition, in 2011, will be issued similar decisions Intel, so that the spectacle would be interesting.
