Black Ink 1.1.7, the most recent adaptation of Red Sweater Software's crossword puzzle-resolving software, was presented on today. The update fixes troubles with receiving puzzles from the Chronicle of Higher Education; eliminate the currently defunct Sydney Morning Herald source, as well as fixes a number of bugs, with one that could cause downloads to freeze up until the software was relaunched. There is also a number of developments to multi-character answer support.

Black Ink needs Mac OS X 10.4 or later on.
