Currently, AMD is working on its new Phenom II X4 processor 975 based on the core Deneb. According to available data, the frequency of this processor will 3.6GGts.
Most likely, the future energy of the AMD will be 140Vt, but users wishing to obtain greater efficiency, has to admit it. It is still unknown exactly when the manufacturer plans to release this processor, but most likely it will happen in the first half of 2010. It is assumed that the processor Phenom II X4 975 will be sold after the announcement at the same price, which is now sold by his predecessor, Phenom X4 II 965.
The source reports that AMD has just created a new version of the core Deneb, something that employees called "Phenom Stepping 3". Core Stepping 3 will produce processors with lower voltage, probably 125W. On this basis will be made by quad-core Phenom II, which probably will be released in the second quarter of 2010. Some sources believe that these processors will be ready sooner, but even in the worst case, Deneb 45nm next generation will see the light at the end of the second quarter of 2010. Of course, if all goes more or less on schedule, and by AMD unforeseen complications with the production of these processors.
Processors based on the Deneb Stepping 3 will be announced in full in 2010, as AMD is planning to transition to 32nm process technology only in 2011. Production lines for AMD 32nm process, currently owned Global Foundries, simply can not be prepared earlier.
