Despite rumors that Intel will delay its next generation Atom processors until the first quarter of 2010, the manufacturer announced that it plans to release these processors in the fourth quarter of this year. The announcement was made solely in order to reassure investors, as even when new Atom processors this year, products based on them will hit the market before 2010. At the end of the fourth quarter of 2009, Intel will deliver its next-generation mobile processor manufacturers of laptops and computers are ready, but the creation and production of specific products will take some time.

Intel declined to provide specific timing of the global market netbooks processors Pineview, but apparently, they will not until the first quarter of 2010. Around the same time, Intel plans to discontinue the current generation processor Atom, Series N.

New processors with integrated graphics will be part of a two-chip platform, currently used trehchipovaya platform. In addition to reducing production costs it will allow manufacturers to build systems with more subtle, passive cooling, which, in turn, will increase the battery life compared to today's netbooks. Unfortunately, in terms of performance improvement will be negligible.
