Intel has revealed its former Atom-based SoC for customer electronics, the Atom CE4100.
The latest part, formerly codenamed Sodaville, consists of an Atom microprocessor clocked at up to 1.2GHz with PowerVR SGX535 graphics at 200MHz or else 400MHz.
On board you'll also get Ethernet, two USB 2.0 along with two SATA controllers, as well as a NAND flash controller. Unusually, it features a 1333MHz DDR3 memory controller, but also sustains dual-channel DDR2 at 800MHz.
Intel claims the innovative SoC can detain 1080p at 60 frames for each second as well as that it can play two HD streams at the same time, which is somewhat we'd like to observe to consider. Power utilization is rated at 7W to 9W, depending on the clocks.
