Intel recently announced the retirement of one of its processors for servers and workstations, namely the Xeon X3320 (box version). 45nm and clocked at 2.5GHz, this quad-core processor in LGA 775 format uses a callback to 1333MHz FSB and 6MB loads L2 cache.

Launched in the first quarter of 2008, the Xeon X3320 can be ordered until April 5, 2010, the last delivery scheduled for July 5, 2010.
