Want to buy a (very good) Radeon Series 5, but you also want to take advantage of PhysX in games? There is a solution. Indeed, while NVIDIA has blocked the use of the PhysX card original and the latest drivers that prevent the use of PhysX if a graphics card other than NVIDIA is detected, a small hack can bypass the problem.
Windows 7 and two cards are needed
In fact, a patch to change the latest drivers for the GeForce PhysX can operate even if a card and AMD detected. And with Windows 7, which can support multiple graphics drivers simultaneously (unlike Vista), it is possible to enable PhysX while using a Radeon card. Of course, a motherboard with two PCI-Express, an NVIDIA graphics card (GeForce 8, 9 or GTX) and Windows 7 are necessary, but all works perfectly. Note also that this manipulation worked directly until recently, until Nvidia does not realize the "problem". Still, this artificial limitation is not really an advantage for NVIDIA: limiting the use of technology is not the best to promote it.
