The manufacturer Super Talent has announced the launch of a new range of SSD 2.5-inch format, the UltraDrive DX. Behind this name hides products developed and manufactured in collaboration with Toshiba.

Available in capacities of 64 GB, 128 GB, 256 GB and 512 GB, these SSDs use memory flash MLC, boarded 128 MB of cache and use a 3 Gbps SATA interface. The manufacturer announced the order of performance of 230 MB / s sequential read and 180MB / s sequential write. The DX UltraDrive also benefit from several hardware mechanisms designed to secure and protect the contents of the SSD technology, which randomly dividing the figures, the aim being to prevent unauthorized copying of files.
With an MTBF of 1 million hours, the DX UltraDrive are advertised rates $ 219 for 64 GB, 439 dollars for 128 GB, 719 dollars for 256 GB and 1649 dollars for the 512 GB.
