Oracle has added service Enterprise Single Sign-On Anywhere (Anywhere ESSO) to Fusion Middleware. ESSO enables customers to identify computers on a cloud and enjoy secure access to various corporate resources.

Facilitating the use of remote resources

It is an extension of Enterprise Sign-On. ESSO is part of Oracle Identity Management and its aim is to simplify the system to dial in business by allowing customers or employees enjoy a username and password where it is and what it does.

Using a single group identifier facilitates the task of the user which reduces the need to write their password and the chances of forgetting or choosing something that is easily guessed such as name you’re pet.

ESSO Anywhere

ESSO Anywhere is a tool to manage the machines that connect. It is possible to use one package for all ESSO software, version control software, deployment of updates and patches and return to a previous configuration if something goes wrong. The new suite also includes Oracle ESSO ESSO Logon Manager, Password Reset ESSO, ESSO Authentication Manager, Provisioning Gateway ESSO and ESSO Kiosk Manager.

The installation of Oracle on the client machines has also been simplified by the firm that explains it enough to register on a web portal to download and activate Anywhere ESSO client and take advantage of existing infrastructure, reducing administration costs and maintenance.
