Adobe Flash would run 10.1 to first quarter 2010. This new version will support accelerated by the GPU and is capable of decoding in hardware H.264. The French company Splitted-Desktop Systems has announced that Gnash, an open source version of Flash on Linux using OpenGL for graphics rendering, can now do so via the VA-API API acceleration for video Linux developed under the GPL.
