For some, the cloud computing (“computing in the cloud" if we translate literally) will revolutionize computing as we know it today. For others, this concept is a simple evolution of how to use Internet (or any network). In all cases, the Cloud Computing and the benefits that this concept has relevance today many companies.
The Private Cloud, a step toward Cloud Computing
According to research firm Gartner, companies could, however - at least initially - focus on the "Private Cloud Computing Cloud Computing at" classic ". While Cloud Computing can see the problems of holding to a specialist company, to enable greater agility and benefit from latest-generation data centers with a higher quality of service, the Private Cloud Computing contains only the last two points. We can see this concept as an evolution of traditional data centers.
The (large) companies are planning to deploy so if you have not already, data centers similar to those used by companies specializing in Cloud Computing, and to implement mechanisms of high availability (clustering) and rationalization of resources (virtualization) set up by them. Gartner also estimated that by 2012, computer companies invest heavily in the Private Cloud and 75% of Cloud Computing services are intended for applications handling large volumes of data or taking on tasks highly parallelizable, or will be used by startups with no real infrastructure.
Large companies should, therefore, at least in the coming years, continue to jointly use these two concepts, leaving their IT departments to decide what services can be outsourced, and what others will continue to be managed internally for various reasons. However, with regard to firms smaller, the question does not really arise, given the cost of a solution "internal”...
