It seems that stress, which created an operating system Windows 7, not passed in vain for the engineers at Microsoft. They got the idea to increase the stock Microsoft have been developed five new exotic models.

One of the new mice do not have anything, what would have kept the hand. The model, called "Side mouse" (left bottom), consists of a roller under the wrist, which detects the movement of hands and fingers tap on the table. Another interesting model is called "Arty" (center) and looks like a snail, "horns" which are the buttons under the thumb and forefinger. These buttons can move a mouse on the hull, and relative to each other, making possible commands such as scaling.

Three other mice called "FTIR" (top left), "Orb" (top right) and "CAP" (lower right), have no buttons, and demonstrate various options of multisensory surface. FTIR uses frustrated total internal reflection, the camera captures the point where the user's fingers to click on a piece of acrylic. This approach is highly accurate fixation stroke. Mouse Orb provides a user-friendly design, recognizes all his fingers and uses infrared rays to detect the user's actions. Finally, the mouse CAP on the basis of capacitive saves energy and has no errors associated with lighting and hindering the work of the optical mice.

In each of the mice shown apply some interesting technology, which look quite promising in the future may well be used in these mice. Although Microsoft has not made any statements about the attempts to start mass production of any of these models, some of these technologies may eventually be further used in commercial products.
