The Taiwanese Acer has announced that certain notebook models from the Aspire range manufactured before September 15, 2009 are being recalled due to manufacturing defects. The models affected are: S3410, AS3810T, AS3810TG, AS3810TZ and AS3810TZG.
According to the site of Acer, the microphone cable is at stake and could overheat if the user presses repeatedly on the left side of the chassis to rest his wrist. Some chassis that can a priori deform and damage the operation of the computer.
A return program has been launched by Acer and the microphone cable will be replaced on these machines. All holders of one of these models are invited to visit the Acer website and enter the serial number of their Aspire laptop to see if their computer needs, or not to be repatriated.
