Seagate has launched its BlackArmor NAS 110. It is a hard core network, neat design (only 61 millimeters thick). It connects to the LAN via a Gigabit Ethernet port or a computer with USB 2.0.Compatible with Active Directory; it can also serve as iTunes or DLNA server. It supports the transfer modes CIFS, NFS, HTTPS, and FTP.

It can save data from multiple clients at all times, but also a storage device via a dedicated USB port and OneTouch button. Note the presence of an automatic encryption (256 bits). The BlackArmor NAS 110 will be offered with a SATA hard drive 1 or 2TB.
