Acer has announced the launch of the Aspire 5738PG, a laptop with a touch screen LCD backlight and LED capable of displaying a resolution of 1366x 768 pixels.

Embedding a Core 2 Duo T6600 clocked at 2.2GHz, the Aspire 5738PG also has a multi-touch touchpad. There are also 4 GB of RAM, a Radeon HD 4570 along with 512 MB of memory, hard disk of 320 GB, 8x DVD burner, wireless controllers and Gigabit Ethernet, HDMI output and an integrated webcam.Supplied with Windows 7 Home Premium 64-bit and 6-cell battery, the Acer Aspire 5738PG should be sold from 22 October to a rate of about $ 800.
