Thread: TRIM available for OCZ Vertex!

OCZ has put online for the new series of SSD Vertex EX and Agility. Attention support for Vertex Turbo will come only at a later time. These are numbered firmware 1.4/1.41 for Vertex / Vertex EX / Agility and Agility for 1.3/1.31 EX.

Their peculiarity is that the version 1.4/1.3 TRIM supports the statement, which allows under an OS that supports the Windows 7 as not to degrade the performance of SSD over its use.1.41/1.31 versions do not include the TRIM but the mechanism of "Garbage Collection" which helps to mitigate this decline in performance regardless of the OS as well as RAID.

The flash from an earlier version is not possible; it must first pass through the firmware 1.3, while those who used beta versions of 1.4 will board firmware to 1.1 then 1.3, which removes the SSD systematically.
