Announced in November 2007, Fusion Applications will combine the best modules of software professionals in an Oracle application suite consisting of tools for managing the finances of a company, human resources, sales and marketing or project management. The modules managing manufacturing operations will come later. The goal is to centralize tasks and optimize decision-making systems.

Prices are still unknown, as the licensing system, but the firm has confirmed that Fusion Applications will be deployed as SaaS and is currently developing tools to monitor the performance of various elements of the result to s' ensure that services are always effective.

Oracle is still trying to reassure its consumers in that state continue to provide technical support for existing applications. The firm has said that a company may choose the elements that Fusion wants to buy and install, thus avoiding having to replace everything at once.
