According to sources, Gigabyte has its boxes in a modified version of the motherboard GA-P55-UD4. Called GA-P55A-UD4, this model would have a floor of improved nutrition (12 +2 stage, 8 +2 cons for the GA-P55-UD4) of 6 Gbps SATA (with a Marvell chip) and USB 3.0 (using NEC chip).
Designed, like its big sister, i5/i7 Core processors on socket LGA 1156, the GA-P55A-UD4 has four DDR3 slots, two PCI-Express 16x SLI and CrossFireX, three PCI-Express x1, two PCI Six SATA 3 Gbps ports, two SATA 6 Gbps ports, two Gigabit Ethernet ports, two eSATA ports and audio controllers 7.1 and FireWire. Expected for the month of November at the earliest, the GA-P55A-UD4 should be displayed at a rate slightly higher than the GA-P55-UD4.
