Thread: Hybrid LCD for November

The screen mode hybrid with e-ink LCD and should land in shelves next month.

The last time we covered this screen was at Computex last June (see"The screen 3Qi demonstration at Computex). Pixel Qi had demonstrated a rather successful model and had the merit of seduction.

The 3Qi can switch between LCD mode color e-paper that uses a monochrome electronic ink readable in bright sunlight. During the demonstration in Taiwan, Pixel Qi spoke of marketing for the end of the year.

It seems that the firm keeps its promises since it announced a tablet, brand unknown, use the 3Qi and will be sold starting next month. We expect that this model is intended primarily for professionals who need to read a screen outside and enjoy the speed with which it is possible to switch from one mode to another (it is sufficient 'press a button).
