Lenovo's S12 was thought to strike the market previously, boasting the designate of the former ION-based netbook around, but the corporation determined to wait for the launch of Windows 7 OS, being listed on month of October 22nd 2009. Currently the corporation formally declared the launch of the S12, plus it will appear on the unchanged day as Windows 7 operating system.

The ION-based S12 arrives with Atom N270 processor, with 1280x800 displays, 2GB of RAM along with a 250GB HDD. It will feature 802.11b/g WiFi, Bluetooth with a 1.3MP web camera, plus will of course run on Win 7 Home premium OS.

Lenovo S12 is being outfitted with three USB ports, VGA; HDMI along with audio outs, as well as this little bugger will feature a 4-in-1 card reader also. It will make use of a 6-cell battery, which should be good for up to 6 hours and it weighs in at 1.55kg.

The S12 will be promoted on October 22nd in Japan. The device will be offered in white color only, as well as while early reports recommended that the US launch of S12 will follow soon.
