The manufacturer Qnap has announced the launch of a new model of NAS, the TS-110.Rather compact, it displays the dimensions of 166 x 60 x 218 mm. Designed to accommodate a single hard disk size 3.5 inches, NAS embeds a Marvell 6281 processor clocked at 800 MHz, 256 MB RAM and 16 MB of flash memory. It also has a Gigabit Ethernet port, three USB 2.0 ports and one eSATA port.

Intended for individuals and very small businesses, NAS will then serve as file server and backup device for all computers on the network. Available in capacities from 250 GB to 2 TB.
