The good news is that its price will be very reasonable at around 800 €. In contrast, Nvidia launched the 3D Vision kits (including special screen and 3D glasses) to more than 600 €. The bad news is the explanation for this cheap: Technology has nothing to do with the Nvidia.

The Nvidia which creates double images (one for each eye) and put on glasses to LCDs alternately hiding then added another Acer retains a classic display frequency (60 Hz) and divides each image two: a second line for the right eye, a second line for the left eye. Each eye sees only images that are designed with polarizing filters on the screen and polarizing glasses.

This system are less satisfactory, because most of causing eyestrain. In return, an average graphics card is enough to display the 3D (Acer has chosen Mobility Radeon HD 4570).
