The U.S. Company Active Media has just introduced its Predator X7. The newcomer will offer 32 to 256 GB MLC flash memory. It will be sent on eight channels with a JMicron controller JMF612. 128 MB of cache are present inside the Predator X7.

The new SSD signed Active Media achieved a throughput of 230 MB / s sequential read and 180MB / s sequential write. Like most flash-based drives JMicron, it has a USB 2.0 port in addition to SATA 3 GB / s. The Predator X7 will be available in November. The 32GB model is announced at $ 149 (119 € TTC), the 64GB $ 219 (175 € TTC), the 128 GB to 349 $ (279 € TTC) and 256 GB to 699 $ (559 € TTC).
