Nexus has introduced its low-7000 in September 2008. This heatpipe Low Profile back today in a new version, revised and corrected. Whereas previously the four heat pipes were melted in the database, they are now type Direct Touch (or HOC for Heatpipe-On-Core Nexus as stated). This should see a small gain on the side of performance.

The LOW-7000, version 2.0 is now compatible with the Socket LGA 1156 Intel and AMD AM3. Fixing Intel is very simple because it is a push-pin. “The dimensions of the (small) thing did not change, i.e. 138 x 123 x 70.3 millimeters and a weight of 475 grams.

Nexus LOW-7000 is available now, but we do not yet know its price.
