Windows 7 is officially launched today, Microsoft gave few details.

That was until a release of Windows did not cause much excitement. Microsoft has understood this and played it. Thus, the firm announced that offers for students to update Windows for 30 € will be available universally since the launch until January 3, 2010.

Microsoft also said that consumers will enjoy an updated version resulted if they buy a PC with Windows 7 pre-installed. The aim is to encourage consumers to use the new operating system throughout the house. It is not known, however the amount of the rebate. The promotional offer will be valid only until January 2, 2010.
