Sandisk present a innovative USB key for enterprises, the Cruzer Enterprise. FIPS 140-2 (which qualifies it for use in government agencies; in particular), it is also the standard Common Criteria EAL2. Finally, the USB is the standard MIL-STD-810 (506.4 and 512.4). Without going into details too technical certifications indicate that the security level is very high and the USB-resistant elements (dust, splash, etc.). These certifications, without being very important for the general public, are necessary in many companies, where data security (especially on a USB key, an object that is lost very easily) is something that is taken very seriously.

The USB is being outfitted with a chip-level hardware encryption (AES 256-bit) with a storage capacity of up to 2 to 8 GB and is capable to read at 24 MB / s as well as write at 20 MB / s very efficiently.
