For the first time in three years, IBM has updated its DS8000 storage system for businesses, leaving the DS8700.
A better processor
The performances were improved by 150% over the previous DS8300, according to the company announcing that the DS8700 uses his latest Power6 processor, which has yield 50% more energy efficient.
