Preparing a new Acer Aspire Timeline tablet PC, the 1420p is similar to 1820P unveiled a few weeks ago. We thus find the touchscreen multitouch 11.6 inches pivoted. Its native resolution of 1366x768 pixels is or 1024x600 pixels. At the heart of this machine, always Culver, more precisely a Celeron or Core 2 Duo. 8 GB of RAM will join them, while the graphics are generated by the GMA 4500MHD found in the chipset.

The storage will be provided by a disk drive 250 or 320 GB Connectivity is extensive with N WiFi, 3G and Bluetooth option. To use the case or the screen would be impractical; we still have the keyboard and a touchpad multigravida. A Crystal Eye webcam and a multi-card reader are also visible in this configuration. It will be powered by a battery of 6 cells, which is expected to reach 8 hours of battery life.

The Aspire Timeline 1420p will be supplied with Windows 7 Home Premium. Acer will offer three colors, black diamond, blue sapphire, and ruby red. We do not yet know the rates and availability dates of the newcomer.
