LG has announced the launch of a new range of LCD monitors, the Flatron W30S. Available in several colors, these LCDs are intended to serve as secondary screens for laptops.

The first two models to appear are W1930S (18.5 inches for a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels) and W2230 (21.5 inches for a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels). Both screens have a response time of 5ms, brightness up to 250 cd / m² and a dynamic contrast ratio of 30 000: 1. Regrettably however the lack of DVI or HDMI, the Flatron W30S to settle for a VGA input. The manufacturer has not yet announced pricing or availability date.
