Thread: 9:10 Catalyst with support for HD-5800 cards

By 9:10 Catalyst package supports ATi first time officially, the new Radeon graphics cards, the HD-5800er series (see "Radeon HD 5870: fast single GPU graphics card," and our test »ATI Radeon 5870: DirectX 11, and a lot Eyefinity Power "). Anyone who has bought right after the market launch an HD 5870 or 5850, yet had to make do with beta drivers. For the models HD 5750 and 5770 this will remain so for the time being (see "Energy Saver with DirectX 11 ATI: Radeon HD 5770 and 5750").

From the support towards the new cards aside, has changed with ATi Catalyst 9:10 compared to the previous version only slightly. Mostly errors were eliminated, according to the release notes: Problems with Games for Windows have 7, for example, even errors of several combinations Crossfire ATI wants to eliminate.
