Sapphire Technology, known for its high-performance graphics cards Vapor-X, established on the basis of VCT (Vapor Chamber Technology, technology evaporation chamber), and said that the basis of radiators, which are used for cooling the graphics card Sapphire Series Vapor-X, is the development of the company Microloops. The first two pictures shows the cooling system is fairly old graphics card Sapphire Vapor-X Radeon HD 3870, however, since VCT Vapor-X is not fundamentally changed.

The cooler is designed specifically to dissipate 300 watts of heat can quickly pick up heat from the GPU due to VCT. Originally evaporating chambers used in high-performance servers of companies such as HP and IBM and later were adapted and modified by Microloops for optimum cooling GPU. To date, only Sapphire uses VCT for high-performance graphics cards, but many users are hoping that other nVidia partners will appreciate the advantages of this technology and begin to release their own similar models.

"Vapor Chamber Technology is based on the same principle on which a heat pipe. Coolant evaporates on the hot surface, then the vapor condenses on the cold surface and the liquid returns to the hot surface. The process of recycling is controlled by a wick. Sapphire Vapor-X covers the cooled surface of thin camera, i.e., in relation to video cards, is mounted in contact with the surface of the graphic chip. As the coolant is water, but due to the fact that the camera is sealed under very low pressure, evaporation occurs at a much lower temperature than the normal boiling temperature. Complicated construction of the wick inside the heat chamber can control the flow of water and water vapor, so that the system could be used in any orientation ", ─ wrote manufacturer.

As before, VCT technology is successfully used by Sapphire graphics cards for a series of Vapor-X, which soon will be another novelty. The network has the first photos Radeon HD 5750 series. The fact that Sapphire has decided to release a video card on a chip HD 5750 cooling Vapor-X, shows that the manufacturer believes that this card rather productive in order to deserve this, one might say, elite cooling. Sapphire is also preparing to release a video card series Vapor-X on-chip Radeon HD 5870.

Graphics Card HD 5750 series Vapor-X is two slots and is likely to be much less noisy and less warm than the reference video. According to available data, HD 5750 Vapor-X should be issued with reference frequencies. This means that its graphics processor with 720 shaders will run at a frequency of 700MHz, and 1GB of GDDR5 memory with a 128-bit interface will work on 1150MGts. Of course, the new video card will support DirectX 11, CrossFireX and ATI Eyefinity. The source reports that this model will be officially promoted on November 3.
