Company A-DATA Technology introduced the useful software OStoGO, which serves as a tool for the transfer system install Windows 7 on a USB flash drive. Users can now use flash drives as a boot disk to install Windows 7 on the netbook. In computers, no optical drives, such as netbooks and ultra mobile PCs, installing a new OS can take a long time. With the help of software A-DATA OStoGO users will be able to move a bootable DVD drive on a USB-flash drive and self-install the OS directly from a bootable USB-drive. Thanks to cleaner design and transformation in one click, OStoGO easily solve problems with installing OS in three easy steps. First, DVD with Windows 7 should be inserted into the optical drive, second, to connect the A-DATA USB-drive to USB-port, thirdly, to specify the drive and press Start. The system then install Windows 7 is fully transferred to the stick. When the transfer is complete, simply install the BIOS emulation USB HDD and then install the OS as usual. Remember that users need to buy licensed Windows Vista / 7 and accept the license agreement, Microsoft End User License (EULA).

Beta OStoGO will be released in early November. It is compatible with all USB-drives A-DATA, hard drives and solid-state drives SSD, having a USB-connector. Customers, who bought these units with capacity of more than 4 GB, after July 2008, will be able to download free OStoGO. In addition, A-DATA offers its customers free download software UFDtoGO, HDDtoGO and Norton Internet Security 2009 (60 days).
