While all typical motherboard manufacturers have currently in progress implementing quicker USB 3.0 expertise, the world's leading chip manufacturer is going on an unusual track. Reportedly, Intel is on purpose delaying execution of USB 3.0 tech on its chipsets. No statement on the reason behind it, but if the monopolist giant doesn't fix its way and starts offering its large customer base with a superior, quicker selection then most of the users will not even hear on the USB 3.0, forget about benefiting from high speed of USB 3.0.

When the USB 3.0 was showcased at IDF a moment ago, the chip giant had considered testing chipsets sustaining USB 3.0 in early on 2010, but now due to unreported reason it has shifted its plans out a year.

Meaning in anticipation of Intel starts rolling out chipsets with USB 3.0, the latest technology will be only restricted to high-end motherboards.

In the end, mainstream customers may have to wait till 2011 before they can gain from USB 3.0.
