MSI has officially launched the first motherboard series to its new Big Bang. Surprise, the Trinergy is not what you think. When we met last month Lucid (under the IDF), we were told that the official announcement of the multi-GPU solution "free" comes from MSI, October 29. So here we are 29, yet the motherboard launched today, the Trinergy do not have the famous Hydra 200 chip but a NVIDIA NF200.
On site set up by the Taiwanese firm, one can find a second reference to the ambiguous name "Fuzion" come later ... From there to ask the firm if the chameleon is not involved in this report one way or another there is only one step. Ultimately, this motherboard is distinguished by its advanced audio processing with audio QuantumWave, support for THX TruStudio PC and EAX Advanced HD 5.0 Creative.
Otherwise, the Trinergy therefore offers three PCI Express 2.0 x16 (Compatible 3-Way SLI) but also two PCI and two PCIe x1. Storage is provided by ten SATA ports and two eSATA. Network side, there are two Gigabit LAN. This MSI motherboard adopts 100% solid capacitors and a chip OC engineering to facilitate overclocking. Power button, Reset, Green Power and Clear CMOS are present on the PCB and control points of tension. A small LCD panel appointed OC Dashboard allows you to manage certain functions (for overclocking) card.
MSI we have not mentioned the price and availability date of the Big Bang Trinergy.
